In February 2023, Hlídárna was established at the Faculty of Health Care Studies with the support of its Dean, which can be used by all parents employed at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The need for this facility arose from a gender audit conducted at the University of West Bohemia in 2021.

In Jungmannova Street 1 (3rd floor, with elevator), Hlídárna first operated on a pilot basis and has now been retrofitted with Montessori learning elements. The children are thus served by a new environment - several fully equipped rooms divided into play, art and movement zones. The position of nanny has also been filled by Irene Beatriz, a Montessori teacher and guide.

The opening hours of Hlídárna are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, and on Thursdays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Other days and times based on the appointment. Parent fills out a registration form before the first visit and reserves a babysitter by phone.
