The University Library of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen invites you to the student conference UNIKAS 2.0 on Friday, February 20, starting at 10:00 am. Topics related to student life and the University of West Bohemia as a whole will be discussed. This conference is being organized by the Student Chamber of the Academic Senate of the University of West Bohemia for the second year, and not only academic senators are welcome to attend; students from all faculties and other interested members of the academic community are also invited.
Discussions will include topics such as how student involvement in university management works and the quality of university dining. The sensitive topic of plagiarism will be also discussed. In this regard, the focus will not be only on current rules, but also on practice and responsibility in the area of academic integrity. Another topic for discussion is the quality of teaching and ways how to improve it. The program will also include a workshop dedicated to supporting student mental health and to the university's role in prevention.
Why attend? You will gain an overview of the topics currently being solved by students at the University of West Bohemia. You can share your own experiences and ideas and you will meet students and student representatives from all faculties. You can join the discussion regardless of whether you are a member of the academic senate. If you get hungry or thirsty during the conference, light refreshments will be provided.
Those interested in participating in the UNIKAS 2.0 conference can register here.
