Let yourself be taken to a region bathed in sunshine and discover the beauty of southern France in the streets and alleys of Provençal towns and villages. This is what the work of painter and traveler Tereza Maříková invites you to do. Her paintings will be exhibited at the University Library of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.Visitors can also look forward to a series of portraits from the world of French culture. The exhibition will be open from Monday, March 2, to Friday, April 10, on the ground floor of the library on the university campus in Pilsen-Bory.
Tereza Maříková (born 1991) is a Pilsen-based painter, passionate traveller, and Francophile who has combined all three of her passions into one: she captures the most beautiful places she has visited in France during more than thirty trips on canvas. She also creates large-scale murals, one of which adorns a study room at the University of Nice. Maříková is planning an exhibition at Le Café de l'Alliance Française de Nice in June 2026. Her murals can also be found in the libraries of the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Law at UWB in Pilsen.
