Year One is a two-day festival that will help you get your bearings at the university and give your first semester a whirlwind. You will get to know student associations, university workplaces, and gain useful information that will help you get into the study-life balance. You will learn how to organise your time, where to find resources, and who to ask for advice. You will also meet students who have already started their story at UWB. You will also enjoy good food and exercise, which is simply part of a good student life.
When and where: September 16, 1–7 p.m., UWB campus (Univerzitní 20)
When and where: September 17, 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Kulturka (Sedláčkova 19) – from here you can continue straight to the SemestrON event at Plzeňský Prazdroj, which is for students and employees, and where you can expect performances by student bands, your first free beer at JIS card and lots of fun.
