Creative Group P 89
At the time when the Creative Group P 89 was born, the waves of the Velvet Revolution were stirring up the socialist pond. The idea of the founders, led by painter Karel Frauknecht, was to create a platform for various artistic disciplines, from visual arts to music, literature, and theater. Over the course of several years, a strong, close-knit association of artists grew, which significantly influences the artistic and social life of the Pilsen region.
The Creative Group P 89 has a unique organizational structure, headed by President Květa Monhartová. Its members are: Renata Drahotová, Milan Ďuriš, Lada Faixová, Václav Fencl Losenický, Václav Fiala, Alice Kopečková, Petr Kutek, Tereza Laznová, Milena Kutková, Miroslava Nová, Jiří Poslední, Naděžda Potůčková, Jiří Rataj, Jan Souček, Miroslav Š. Tázler, and Helena Vendová. Tamara Salcmanová has been the group's executive director since 1997.
