Mars Rover, smart textiles capable of measuring temperature, pressure, and position, and quantum technologies — these are among the topics that the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen will bring to TechTower on October 22. The National Cluster Association and the Mechatronics Cluster are organizing the Cluster Day conference — a meeting of locally concentrated, interconnected companies and institutions in specific fields.
They’ll showcase a nanofiber winding machine, a laser engraving station, and there will be welding, VR demonstrations, and even a disassembled turbine from Doosan. When it comes to quantum technologies, don’t miss the presentation by Petr Kavalíř from NTC UWB.
Inside the TechTower hall, visitors will find over 20 live demonstrations, all open for hands-on exploration. For students, this will also be a valuable opportunity to meet real companies behind these technologies and gain inspiration for their future careers.
Full details about the event and the list of showcased technologies can be found on the website.
Entry is free, but organizers ask visitors to register in advance, preferably via this link.
