The second EUPeace Conference and the first major alliance meeting in Plzeň will take place at the Parkhotel Plzeň. The conference will offer an interdisciplinary platform for discussing the far-reaching impact of artificial intelligence on social conflicts, environmental security, migration, human rights, and global health.
Building on the expertise and contributions of the EUPeace research hubs, the conference will focus on how AI is shaping today’s global challenges. “We are aware that advancing peace and justice requires a comprehensive research approach – that’s why the conference also includes topics that go beyond artificial intelligence,” said Magdalena Rousová, Head of the International Office at the University of West Bohemia in Plzeň.
The conference will bring together experts from various fields representing nine European universities and will provide space for diverse dialogue on current societal and research-related issues. It will also showcase how research enriches teaching by delivering up-to-date knowledge, connecting theory with practice, and developing critical thinking through evidence-based approaches.
Participants can look forward to keynote lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and also Creative Spaces – open environments for cross-disciplinary debates on key questions related to peace, justice, and inclusive societies.
